You don't have to use Bluewave Dynamics and you can do your claim yourself for free by contacting the bank and the Financial Ombudsman yourself. Here’s a guide on how to do it yourself

The Investigation

Our Fraud Investigators will review your case to determine if assistance can be provided.

The Bank

Bluewave Dynamics will compile your unique case and submit a tailored report to the bank to obtain their formal response.

FOS

If the bank denies reimbursement, Bluewave Dynamics escalates your case to the FOS for an independent review, the final step in determining your refund amount.

If successful, you receive the money back into your account! We then report the fraudsters to the authorities. Of course, we keep you updated throughout so that you know what's happening. We handle everything to keep it as easy for you as possible.

If unsuccessful, you money will be returned to you immediately.

If we successfully resolve your case with your bank, you could have your money returned within 15 days.

If the bank declines to issue a refund, we’ll escalate your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Once the case is with FOS, the resolution timeline can vary significantly, ranging from a few weeks to several years.

The timeline depends on whether you’ve already filed a complaint with your bank and if the bank agrees to refund the full amount without requiring FOS intervention. (Cases are resolved much faster when FOS involvement isn’t necessary.)
